Personally followed the transfer paperwork into the internal mail system today. Let's see what happens this time. And since when was 4J a smoker?

Checked again with head office and they still haven't received the transfer paperwork. I'll fill it out again and re-send tomorrow. Very strange.

Just phoned HQ to ensure that the transfer paperwork was under way, and they say they haven't received any transfer requests. Where did that go?

Desserts were so popular we've kept doing them for most prisoners. And we're putting in a transfer request to get Big Derek out of here. I can't look at him every day. A bit like the custard.

4J gave me a note from 4K. As I thought, he's not even considering joining him. And what is Derek doing out, I could have sworn he was in solitary 'indefinitely'.

I've had a chat with Lou and we're meeting at her office tonight. As she works for a firm of solicitors she's in a good position to discuss 4J. She seemed very keen in fact.

I need a backup plan, as it looks increasingly unlikely that 4J is going to go with 4K. Seriously, what is he doing here?

I'm pretty sure I saw 4K pushing a note through to 4J. I won't say anything and we'll see what happens. (That all purpose filler we used on the walls was rubbish by the way!)

I haven't reported the note I found 4K with yesterday. As far as I'm concerned, 4J is innocent and I'm seriously considering letting him escape.

I delivered dinner to 3B/4K just as he was trying to push a piece of paper through the wall to 4J. He 'has a plan' according to the note. We should probably put him in solitary.

Right at the end of my shift, and 4J starts tapping on his wall. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to put 3B, of all people, next to him.

Got him! Someone in Block 4 gave up Big Derek's name as the mastermind for the whole abduction nightmare. He was going to get released for my safe return. Instead, he's been moved from 3 to solitary!

It's nice to finally get rid of that tonne and a half of powdered custard.

Everyone is scared to talk and that is a clue in itself. There is one person who could promote this much fear and I don't think desserts are going to be enough to get him pointed at.

The new guy's going around to try and get some information from the inmates. We need to find who was responsible, although I don't know how I'm going to feel when we know.
